James Braid and Patrick Mateer were recently named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list! Both Braid and Mateer received their bachelor degrees here, at UNC.
James Braid is currently Deputy Chief of Staff to Rep. Ted Budd (R-N.C.) and previously served in the office of Rep. Mark Sanford (R-S.C.). Braid made Forbes’ 30 Under 30 for Law & Policy.
Patrick Mateer is the Founder of Seal the Seasons a company that flash-freezes local produce so locals have the ability to buy fresh and local produce each season. Mateer made Forbes’ 30 Under 30 for Social Entrepreneurs.
