Dear Friends,
I am saddened to inform you that our friend and colleague Tom Carsey passed away last night. His contribution to our community was remarkable, and his indefatigable devotion to our graduate students was humbling and cherished. We will miss him very much, and we send our thoughts of support to his family, his friends, and to all of you who knew Tom.
