The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee in Political Science condemns the attacks on Asian Americans on March 16 in Atlanta, as well as the numerous other attacks against Asian Americans over the past year. These planned attacks are tragic, terrifying, painful, and unfortunately, part of a larger history of white supremacy in the U.S. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion committee condemns racism in all of its forms, and we affirm our support for all individuals and groups that have been targeted by racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, and all forms of discrimination and prejudice.
